Finance / Commercial Manager - Mining - Indonesia
PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia is a division of Leighton Asia and
mainly specialises in contract mining, civil engineering and
infrastructure, including site preparation, earthworks, roads,
bridges, pipelines and tunnels. This position is based at the head
office in Jakarta.
Duties and responsibilities:
* The sucessful candidate will be required to work very closely
with the General Manager of Mining in running the mining business
based in Jakarta
* Assist/Manage/Mentor site commercial terms to ensure we are
reporting monthly performance, forecasting, reviewing unusual cost
trends and cash modelling/forecasts consistently throughout all the
sites. We use a suite of contract valuations, flexi budgets, cash
forecasts tools that include under/over claims and budgets surpluses
to understand the 'health' of each project monthly
* Review and audit progress claims to ensure appropriate revenue
is claimed including adjustments as VO's and escalation
* New work reviews and financial analysis - completion of metrics
such as ROI, ROFE, IRR, NPV, CFROI as well as cash flow modelling and
CAPEX management
* Ultimately reviewing the current systems and looking at how that
can be improved
* Assisting in assessing new internal improvement proposals using
the above metrics to ensure they make good financial sense and that
they fit within CAPEX or spend forecasts before approving.
* Monitoring the improvement proposals after inception to make
sure the site teams are delivering what they committed to management
of the preparation of the monthly reports.
Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting or equivalant qualifications
* minimum 10 years experiences
* Experience in similar accounting roles ini mining business
* In-depth knowledge of finance and management accounting functions
