Plant External Repair Superintendent - Indonesia
PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia is a division of Leighton Asia and
mainly specialises in contract mining, civil engineering and
infrastructure, including site preparation, earthworks, roads,
bridges, pipelines and tunnels. This position is based in Kalimantan
at the Balikpapan Support Facility, which provides equipment,
maintenance, logistical and training support to our mining projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
Monitoring the accurate completion of warranty & external repair work
in progress reports weekly highlighting any issues
Review the analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts
required in relation warranty claim and equipment component quotation
Controlling all component failure investigation and supporting
documentation are completed to support off site repair and Claims.
Monitoring all warranty claims are researched, documented and
submitted in order to achieve positive claim results
Monitoring investigation progress and all reports of all accident
damage and potential rework issues arising from warranty and component
investigation (include abuse)
Ensure Leighton system are updated with all details of warranty claims
or external repair data
Review weekly and monthly report as required in relation to warranty
and external repair.
Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws,
regulations and statutory obligations at all time
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/
Automotive) or equivalent
At least 10 years working experience in related field, and 5 years
experience in supervising a team
In-depth knowledge of heavy earth moving products, power generation equipment
In-depth understanding of the overall budget and long term plans for
the maintenance and repair equipments
MS Office proficiency
Applicants must be willing to work in Balikpapan (East Kalimantan)
